Why 980nm+1470nm?
Optimal degree of water absorption in the tissue, emits energy at the wavelength of 1470 nm. The wavelength has a high degree of water absorption in the tissue,and 980 nm provides high absorption in hemoglobin. The bio-physical property of the wave used in the Laseev laser means that the ablation zone is shallow and controlled, and therefore there is no risk of damage to adjacent tissues. Additionally, it has a very good effect on blood (no risk of bleeding). These features make the Laseev laser a safer.

What are the anorectal diseases that require laser surgery?
Piles or hemorrhoids is excessive of arterial blood flow, causing dilations in the hemorrhoidal plexuses and, consequently congestion. Enlarged veins that are located at the junction of rectum and anus are known as Hemorrhoids, Mulvyadh or Bavasir.

Pilonidal cysts are the sacs filled with hair and skin debris that are formed at the top of the crease of buttocks above the sacrum. A painful abscess can form if the cyst and overlying skin become infected.

Laser energy is delivered, via a radial emitting optical fiber, into the anal fistula tract and is used to thermally ablate and
close off the abnormal pathway. The laser energy induces destruction of the fistula epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the remaining fistula tract by a shrinkage effect. In the ELITE™ procedure laser energy is delivered via a designated optical fiber into the hemorrhoidal pile and is used to thermally close off the veins nourishing the abnormal growth.

What is Hemorrhoidal LASER Procedure (HeLP)?
It is minimally invasive laser surgery for hemorrhoids that does not require anesthesia. The procedure involves the identification of terminal branches of the rectal artery using Doppler, followed by photocoagulation of these branches using a LASER diode fiber (1470nm).
What is laser hemorrhoidoplasty (LHP)?
Similar to HeLP, blood flow to the hemorrhoidal plexus is stopped by laser coagulation of branches of the rectal artery.
What is Laser hemorrhoidectomy?
Laser cauterization is a technique in which the surgeon burns to shrink the swollen hemorrhoids. Alternatively, the surgeon may use a narrow beam of the laser to focus only on hemorrhoid and not damage the nearby tissues. It is a safe procedure with minimal bleeding and a quick healing time.
A laser fiber is passed through the anal opening and laser energy is applied to the haemorrhoidal mass. The controlled emission of laser energy reaches the submucosa zone, causing the haemorrhoidal mass to shrink. Fibrosis reconstruction generates new connective tissue, ensuring the mucosa adheres to the underlying tissue preventing the recurrence of prolapse.
What is FILAC technique (Fistula – Tract Laser Closure)?
It is a minimally invasive and sphincter-preserving technique used in treating anorectal fistula. The affected tissue (epithelialized path) is destroyed and sealed using laser emission radially 360° in a controlled manner. This is one of the most commonly resorted laser treatment for fistula in Hyderabad.
What is Lateral Internal Sphincterotomy (LIS)?
For chronic anal fissure that is resistant to medical and conservative approaches, the doctor may decide to perform a surgery called as lateral internal sphincterotomy (LIS).
