Spider vein removal handle vascular removal
What are Spider Veins?
Spider veins are thin and damaged veins near the surface of the legs and facial skin. They are often highly visible. Unlike varicose veins, they usually don’t cause pain, but sometimes some mild discomfort.
When blood vessels are prominent near the facial skin surface, they are also known as facial Telangiectasis. Most people refer to spider veins as broken blood vessels. When Telangiectasis appears, it is typically due to heredity and environmental factors. Extreme heat or cold and the sun are the factors that seem to play a large role in their occurrence.
The spider vein removal handle need to connect with the laser machine to work.
Treatment Principle:
Laser removal of spider veins (telangiectasias) is a non-invasive treatment specifically designed to improve the appearance of tiny, red or purple blood vessels on the skin’s surface, making it a popular choice for many patients.
During the treatment, patients may experience a slight stinging sensation, but this discomfort is generally tolerable. For those who are more sensitive to pain, an anesthetic cream may be applied to the skin to effectively reduce the pain and allow for a more comfortable treatment.
The treatment works by absorbing laser light of a specific wavelength into hemoglobin in blood vessels, converting it into heat energy that seals the blood vessels. These sealed vessels are eventually absorbed naturally by the body, resulting in a better appearance.
After the treatment, the skin may experience temporary redness or swelling, which is a normal post-operative reaction and generally resolves on its own within a few hours to a few days. Patients should simply maintain basic sun protection and moisturizing afterward, and avoid direct sunlight and irritation on the treated area to expedite recovery.
This treatment is suitable for a wide range of patients, whether they have spider veins on the face, legs, or other areas that meet the treatment indications. Furthermore, it requires no surgery, leaves no noticeable scars on the skin, and has minimal impact on the patient’s daily life and work, allowing them to quickly return to normal activities after treatment.
However, it’s important to note that laser spider vein removal isn’t always effective overnight. For more severe cases, multiple treatments may be required to achieve optimal results. The specific number of treatments will be determined by the doctor based on the patient’s vascular condition, skin type, and other factors.
